The Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Encouraging Diversity Growth and Equity (EDGE) programs are State of Ohio programs to encourage contracting with minority businesses and economically and socially disadvantaged enterprises.  While Ohio’s community colleges are not mandated participants in these state programs, they do engage in outreach activities to promote engagement with MBE and EDGE businesses.
